Striking original mid century still life oil painting from Sweden by listed artist Arne Granhall dated 1949 titled "Still Life with Red Vase" on the reverse. A fabulous oil of an interior setting with the artist's easel resting under the window. I love the glimpse of paintings to. the right of the window. Beautiful saturated color and skillfully rendered. Excellent use of design, color and composition. So charming in person! A jewel of a painting. 

Artist: Arne Granhall (1915-2004) Studied with Otte Sköld and at the Art Academy in Stockholm. Represented in museum collections in sweden including Nationalmusem and Kalmar Art Museum.
