Vintage mid century oil painting from Sweden by listed artist Hans Ripa from Sweden. Expressive brushwork and lovely use of color in this atmospheric and beautiful landscape featuring a farmer working in his field. I love the way this artist handled his paint with such confidence. Gorgeous in person.

Artist:  Hans Ripa (1912-2001)  Hans Ripa studied at Skånska Målarskolan in Sweden and in Copenhagen and Paris. His paintings are in several museum collections around Sweden.
