Amazingly beautiful still life oil painting by listed artist, Gustav Berlin (1905-1988), Sweden dated 1949 titled "The Birthday Bouquet". Finally another floral by Gustav Berlin! Harmonious color and confident, gestural brushwork make up this charming painting of a spring bouquet composed of daffodils, tulips and mimosa rendered in thicker impasto. Beautiful use of line work and color that gives this painting movement and life. Gorgeous in person!
