Vintage Oil Painting by Göta Fogler From Sweden. Super charming and very striking oil painting by Swedish artist Gösta Fogler (1919-1992) in softer tones in a naive style. Street scene from a Southern European village with a lovely view of the sea on the horizon. Confident expressive brushwork that shows no hesitation and an excellent composition.  I love a painting that tells a story!  Super charming! 

Artist:  Göta Fogler (1919-1992) Fogler studied painting in both Stockholm and Paris and  is represented in many museum collections in Sweden including Moderna Museet, Nordiska Museet in Stockholm and Tessins Institute, Paris.
