Vintage Mid Century Still Life From Sweden By Eric Elfwén from 1971. Striking still life in saturated jewel like color in thick impasto titled "The Fruit Bowl". Sweeping lines keep the eye expertly circulating around the composition. Breath taking in person. Represented in many museum and public collections in Sweden including Moderna Museet (The Modern Art Museum), Stockholm. Artist trained in many well known Atelier schools in Stockholm and Paris. Was also well known for his glass artist. Oil on panel. Frame shows wear. Signed and dated lower right.
