Vintage Mid Century Still Life From Sweden By Eric Elfwén from c mid century titled "The Kitchen Shelf". Striking still life of objects on a kitchen shelf in which the artist has expertly broken down the various shapes into flat planes of color. Excellent composition and color harmony. Oil on panel. Frame shows wear. Signed lower right.

Artist: Eric Elfwén (1921-2008) . Represented in many museum and public collections in Sweden including Moderna Museet (The Modern Art Museum), Stockholm. Artist trained in many well known Atelier schools in Stockholm and Paris. Was also well known for his glass artist.
