Stunning Mid Century Original Oil Painting by Tage Nilsson (1926-1997) Sweden. Nilsson studied with Isaac Grunewald, Stockholm and in Paris with André L'Hote and Othon Friesz and was awarded the Stockholm Culture Stipendium for his art in 1961. Excellent brushwork and superb color usage make up this atmospheric landscape in softer tones applied in blocks of color. Great composition with depth in the scene. Lovely in person. * Please note that there appears to be a  zig zag pattern on the frame in the first photo. This pattern in NOT there in reality..this is an optical illusion of the camera. Please see the second photo!
