Richly painted still life of bouquet of tulips in a glass vase rendered in expressive bold, bright color. There is a beautiful sense of movement and rhythm to the composition. Artist: Greta Turén (1901-1979) born Malmö, Sweden studied art at the Skånska målarskolan, Copenhagen and in Dresden, Germany with Otte Sköld. Represented in several Swedish museum collections.
