Vintage Art Room Original Coastal Oil Painting from Sweden

Stunning vintage art mid century oil painting by listed artist, Gunnar Persson, from Sweden. A very atmospheric coastal painting of boats resting on shore rendered with very elegant brushwork in harmonious color. This painting has a beautiful luminosity and is simply stunning in person- my photography does not capture the beautiful subtle coloring in this piece. I love this painting by one of my favorite artist.

Artist:  Gunnar Persson (1908-1975)  Gunnar Persson studied at Gottfrid Larssons målarskola in Stockholm 1928-1931 and during various trips to southern Europe. Persson is represented in Modern Museet, Kalmar Museum, Östersunds Museum and in various public collections.

Date: dated but I can not make out the date.
