Mid Century Oil Painting by listed artist Bia Peterson from Sweden. Beautiful atmospheric landscape oil painted in softer tones in heavily textured impasto paint. Excellent composition with flowing lines that draw the eye around the canvas. Beautiful color harmony and confident brushwork. On the reverse is written "Landscape Nevada" Very striking in person and I'm tempted to keep this one myself! These mid century pieces are getting harder to find. Some craquelure in the surface that is normal when paint is applied this thickly. this does not affect the integrity of this wonderful painting.
