Antique Portrait by listed artist Ernst Söderberg from Sweden dated 1927. Masterfully rendered portrait painting with lovely color usage and drawing. Hands down one of the best women's portraits I have sold. As a portrait painter myself this is the kind of portrait I love to study. Very beautiful and striking in person!

Artist: Ernst Söderberg (Born Hamburg, Germany 1889-1967) Studied in Stockholm with Carl Wilhemson and later at The Royal Art Academy. And at Valands Art School, Gothenburg. Recipient of many awards his work is represented Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Eskilstuna Art Museum, Borås Art Museum, Västerås Art Museum.
