Fabulous framed mid century landscape oil painting by listed artist Helge Cardell from Sweden dated 1959. Atmospheric landscape with great depth painted in beautiful yellow and deep green tones that shimmer. Fantastic expressive impasto brushwork with no hesitation and a pleasing composition. So striking in person!

Artist:  Helge Cardell (1902-1972) Cardell studied at Skånska Målarskolan plus during trips to the Netherlands, England, Germany and France. Represented in several museum collections in Sweden.
