Vintage Art Original Landscape Oil Painting From Sweden

Striking vintage landscape from Sweden by listed artist Folke Lind dated 1964 titled "Mist". Dramatic landscape in hevy impasto with a striking and strong contrast between the sky and land. Excellent harmonious use of color and expert use of warms and cools. Brushstrokes are applied in a confident and expressive manner. A very lovely painting with great depth.

Artist: Folke Lind, listed artist from Sweden (1931-2017) Lind studied art with Nils Wdel and with Endre Nemes and Torsten Renqvist at Valand's School of Art in Gothenburg 1954–1956 and during study trips to the Netherlands, Italy, France and England. Lind is represented at Modern Museum, Gothenburg Art Museum, Kalmar Art Museum, Borås Art Museum,  Västerås Art Museum, Bohuslän Museum, and Eskilstuna Art Museum.
