Vintage Original Fine Art Oil Painting by listed artist Astrid Harms-Ringdahl, Sweden dated 1979.  Beautiful, expressive brushwork in striking, harmonious color stands out in this charming oil of a harbor. Very confident paint application with beautiful paint handling and harmonious color. This painter is another artist I've been selling of the years and her prices have risen considerably here in Sweden and abroad. 

Artist: Astrid Harms-Ringdahl (1912-1984) Studied painting 1928 to 1931 at the Tekniska skolan in Stockholm and then from 1936 to 1942 in Stockholm at the Konsthögskolan (Royal Academy of Fine Arts). Harms-Ringdahl was the recipient of an art scholarship in 1954. She took many self directed study tours abroad to Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Greece, USA, Russia, Sri Lanka and England.
