Antique portrait by listed artist Kurt Jungstedt from Sweden dated 1920. Striking portrait of a seated woman holding a basket of green apples painted with confident and expressive brushwork tilted " The Woman from Catalan". The artist has successfully captured the personality of the sitter. Excellent drawing skills and lovely use of color. Very striking in person.
