Mid Century oil painting by listed artist Carl Berndtsson from Sweden titled "Tree study" on the reverse.  Thickly applied paint in beautiful tonal colors ranging from aqua to grey to pink of trees in a wintery landscape that verges on abstract. Very colorful for a winter painting. Lovely in person. Some areas of craquelure which is normal when paint is applied this thickly- does not affect the integrity of this painting. Carl Berndtsson studied at the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm and worked both in Europe in Scandinavia. Stunning in person.  International shipping included in price!
