Original Vintage Mid Century Farmhouse Oil Painting Sweden

Striking original vintage oil painting by popular and listed Swedish artist Bengt Hillgrund (1935-1981). Harmonious color and great composition of a countryside farmhouse. The paint is applied in confident brushstrokes with no hesitation with thicker impasto. The painting is skillfully painted in cool blues with touches of warm that creates a beautiful luminosity.  Must see in person. My photography does not do this piece justice!

Artist:   Bengt Hillgrund (1935-1981) is represented in various museum collections in Sweden. Studied in Sweden and Copenhagen.
