Gorgeous Mid Century Still Life painting signed G Turen, '51. Gretha Turén (1901-1979) born Malmö, Sweden studied art at the Skånska målarskolan, Copenhagen and in Dresden, Germany with Otte Sköld. Represented in several Swedish museum collections. Lively winter landscape titled "Winter in Pildamm Park" with figures in the foreground engaged in various winter activities. Confident brushwork and beautiful color harmony. Oil paint applied thickly in some areas. Signed and dated lower left. Super charming in person!! Oil on. Comes in original frame that shows wear.
