Mid Century Original Vintage Harbor Oil Painting from Sweden

Mid century oil painting by Swedish listed artist Nils Folke Knafve. Stunning oil painting rendered with a beautiful balance of light, shadow and color. Excellent paint handling, confident expressive brushwork and a pleasing composition. A striking painting by a very collectible and excellent artist. I'm tempted to keep this one myself.

Artist: Nils Folke Knafve (1905-1996) Sudied with Nils Nilsson at Valands Art School 1938-44 and in Paris 1951-52.  Recipient of many awards for his painting Knafve is represented in public collections in Sweden.
