Mid Century Original Vintage Farmhouse Oil Painting from Sweden

Mid century landscape oil painting by Swedish listed artist Nils Folke Knafve. Stunning oil painting titled "Skåne Farmhouse" of a farmhouse rendered with a beautiful balance of light, shadow and color. Excellent paint handling, confident expressive brushwork and a pleasing composition. I have a feeling this was painted en plein aire. Stunning in person! The original frame which is included is 24k gold leaf. A striking painting by an excellent artist. I'm tempted to keep this one myself.

Artist: Nils Folke Knafve (1905-1996) Sudied with Nils Nilsson at Valands Art School 1938-44 and in Paris 1951-52.  Recipient of many awards for his painting Knafve is represented in public collections in Sweden.
