Mid century framed oil painting dated 1950 by Olle Montelius from Sweden. Bold, expressive brushwork with an excellent harmonious color palette make up this striking and very stylized mid century landscape with two figures. Paint is applied in a confident manner with no hesitation. Gorgeous in person! The frame is the perfect compliment to this painting. An excellent example of mid century painting. I will probably regret selling this piece.
