Lovely landscape of beach side sand dunes in striking color with a fantastic composition and great depth. Excellent use of design. This piece needs no explaining as it speaks for itself. Gerhard Karlmark studied at Konstakademin in Stockholm and travelled on self directed painting study trips around Europe. Represented in several museum collections in Sweden (Malmö, Ystad). This artist has been auctioned at Christie's. Another painting I'll probably regret not keeping!
