Charming original vintage cow painting by listed artist, Sigfrid Bengtsson (1898- 1985), Sweden from 1966 titled "Young Animals". S Bengtsson was known in Sweden as "the cow painter". Striking oil painting of calves  in pasture. Beautiful paint application and use of warm and cool color in deep saturated colors with a good composition that keeps the attention on the main subject, the cows. Painting speaks for itself.  Comes in original frame which shows wear. signed lower right. so charming in person!! *This painting was hard to photograph because of glare reflecting off of the darker areas. Does not look like this in life.
