Beautiful original vintage cow painting by listed artist, Sigfrid Bengtsson (1898- 1985), Sweden from 1954 titled "Calves". S Bengtsson was known in Sweden as "the cow painter". Amazing oil painting of calves resting in pasture. Beautiful paint application and use of warm and cool color in deep saturated colors with a good composition that keeps the attention on the main subject, the cows. Painting speaks for itself.  Comes in original frame which shows wear. signed lower right. so charming in person!!
