Fabulous framed mid century landscape oil painting by listed artist Helge Cardell (1902-1972) Sweden from c1960. Cardell studied at Skånska Målarskolan plus during trips to the Netherlands, England, Germany and France. Cardell is represented in several museum collections in Sweden. Painted in beautiful ochre and lavender tones which create a nice color contrast and really makes the colors glow. Fantastic expressive brushwork with no hesitation and a pleasing composition. Signed lower right. Oil on canvas. Frame shows wear. Really striking in person. Comes in original frame and is ready to hang!
