Striking Mid Century Original Oil Painting by Tage Nilsson (1926-1997) Sweden. Excellent brushwork and superb color usage make up this charming painting of a countryside village. Great depth in the scene. Lovely in person.

Artist: Tage Nilsson (1926-1997) Nilsson studied with Isaac Grunewald, Stockholm and in Paris with André L'Hote and Othon Friesz and was awarded the Stockholm Culture Stipendium for his art in 1961.
