Vintage Oil Painting from Sweden by Torsten Lidman (1903-1990) on panel in original frame. Signed and dated 1947. Expressive brushstrokes with a wonderful composition and pleasing color harmony in thick impasto oil colors with sweeping expressive brushwork. This artist certainly knew how to paint and shows it by by his skillful use of color and the way he sweeps your eye around the painting. This painting is lovely! Represented in several public collections. Very charming painting!
