Super mod original mid century painting in oil by listed artist Gerhard Karlmark (1905-1976) Sweden. Absolutely exceptional and beautiful painting of two figures and a donkey in a Southern European setting by a very popular and wonderful artist.  Fantastic use of color and composition. Another painting I'll probably regret not keeping! Paintings of this caliber are getting harder and harder to come by. A painting by one of my favorite artist. So charming and striking in person!
