Vintage mid century original watercolor by listed artist Gerhard Karlmark from Sweden from circa mid 1940's. An atmospheric and charming scene of three people seated in a train carriage. You can just make out the luggage rack above the window. Painted in softer muted tones with loose, expressive brushwork. I love the man's bowler hat and her hat! Lovely in person!
