Original large vintage oil painting by listed Swedish artist Gideon Isaksson (b 1911). Isaksson studied at Skånska Målarskolan and the art academy in Copenhagen. Represented in Trelleborg Museum. Impressionistic seascape with skillfull use of color and composition. I love the sweeping lines of the water's edge that leads the eye around the composition. Beautiful in person!
