Vintage Mid Century Art Painting From Sweden EH Jacobsson

Excellent and charming oil painting by Swedish listed artist Eva Holmberg Jacobsson (1910-2003) dated 1948.  Beautifully painted with an eye for detail with out being too sweet this painting just oozes charm and character. Eva Holmberg Jacobsson studied with Otte Sköld who trained many well known Swedish artists and in Paris. She started her career as a fashion illustrator in Paris for some of the big fashion houses. She is represented in Malmö Museum, museums in Helsingborg, Trelleborg and Landskrona, and Artcurial, Paris and in Cairo.  Beautiful in person! FREE international shipping included

Medium: Gouache on panel. Originally this painting was framed under glass but I've removed the glass for shipping purposes. I recommend replacing the glass to protect the surface but it isn't absolutely necessary.
