Vintage Mid Century Art Interior Scene From Sweden 1949

Excellent and charming oil painting by Swedish listed artist Eva Holmberg Jacobsson (1910-2003) dated 1949. Beautifully painted interior scene in saturated color painted with an eye for detail without being too sweet this painting just oozes charm and character. Skilfully painted with confident brushwork that shows no hesitation.  Beautiful in person! 

Artist: Eva Holmberg-Jacobsson (1910-2003) Listed artist from Sweden. Eva Holmberg Jacobsson studied with Otte Sköld who trained many well known Swedish artists and in Paris. She started her career as a fashion illustrator in Paris for some of the big fashion houses. She is represented in Malmö Museum, museums in Helsingborg, Trelleborg and Landskrona, and Artcurial, Paris and in Cairo.
