Framed original vintage landscape oil painting by listed artist Albert Abbe from Sweden. Stunning impressionistic landscape painting of a haystack in a field on a summer day. Harmonious colors and excellent painting technique. The composition zigzags from the right corner of the canvas across and to the backgroud- excellent composition. Superb use of light and shadow. A classic painting.
Artist: Albert Abbe (1889-1966) Studied at the Caleb Althins målarskola in Stockholm and in Paris at Académie Colarossi with instructor André Lhote, in Berlin 1909 and in Paris 1910. He is represented in several museum collections: Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Malmö Konstmuseum, Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, Helsingborg's and Landskrona's Museums.
