Striking Mid Century Original Oil Painting by Tage Nilsson (1926-1997) Sweden. Nilsson studied with Isaac Grunewald, Stockholm and in Paris with André L'Hote and Othon Friesz and was awarded the Stockholm Culture Stipendium for his art in 1961. Excellent brushwork and superb color usage with a nice use of light makes up this atmospheric oil painting featuring an inner courtyard of a countryside farmhouse. Lovely in person.
