Vintage Coastal Painting from Sweden

Charming Mid Century Original Oil Painting by listed artist Gunnar Zetterström from Sweden. Expressive brushwork and an excellent composition makes up this striking beach scene in saturated color. I love the perspective of this piece looking down on the beach goers and the two red parasols at the bottom right with a sailboat skimming over the water in the background. The location is most likely set in the Stockholm archipelago as Zetterström is well known for his paintings depicting scenes from Stockholm. This painting is gorgeous in person. Must see in person!
