Super mod vintage oil painting from the mid century by listed artist Gunnar Ekdahl from Sweden. Fantastic expressive brushwork and beautiful color harmony in this gorgeous coastal scene. Excellent color harmony, composition and great textural brushwork. Striking in person. My photography does not do this stunning painting justice.

Artist: Gunnar Ekdahl (1907-1995) Ekdahl studied at Skånska Målarskolan 1931–1932 and in Copenhagen 1933, as well as during study trips to Italy, France, Belgium and Spain.
