Vintage oil painting on linen by listed artist Gustaf Höglund from Sweden dated 1951. Titled "On the Other Side of the Street in Collioure" on the reverse. A lovely painting set in the South of France featuring a streetside vegetable and fruit market rendered with a beautiful use of color and composition. A beautiful painting! 

Artist: Gustaf Höglund  (1910-1994) G Höglund trained as an artist in Paris at two prestigious art academies-  the Académie Julian and Académie de la Grand Chaumière. Represented in both public and private collections including Gävle Museum, Sweden.
