Mid Century Landscape Oil Painting by listed artist Gerhard Wihlborg Sweden titled "Autumn Landscape". Beautifully rendered atmospheric landscape with farmhouses with confident expressive brushwork that shows no hesitation and expert color usage. So striking-this is such a beautiful painting in person. Unfortunately my poor photography skills do not show this piece to its full advantage!!

Artist: Gerhard Wihlborg (1897-1982) Studied at Althins Art Academy and the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm and many self directed painting excursions abroad. Exhibited widely during his lifetime. Wihlborg is represented in many museum collections in Sweden.
