Large Mid Century Oil Painting by listed artist Richard Björklund from Sweden. A striking modernist interior successfully broken down into bold geometric shapes. Beautiful use of warm and cool colours. A solid composition with depth and excellent use of line with confident brushwork. The interplay of light, shadow and pattern creates depth, and rhythm giving the piece a quietly dramatic feel. A lovely example of mid century art!
