Original, Mid Century Still Life painting signed G Turen, '64. Gretha Turén (1901-2979) born Malmö, Sweden studied art at the Skånska målarskolan, Copenhagen and in Dresden, Germany with Otte Sköld. Represented in several Swedish museum collections. Charming floral still life on gessoed board. Oil paint applied thickly in some areas in harmonious tones of blues, greens and reds. Signed and dated lower left. Really charming in person!!
