Dramatic oil painting on all levels- color, composition and paint handling. Lovely thick impasto and a kaleidoscope of saturated color in this striking coastal scene by listed artist Arnold Eres from 1979. So striking in person. This painting was hard to photograph because of the deep color and glare reflecting off of the surface.

Artist: Arnold Eres (1917-1986) Listed artist. Born originally in Estonia, Eres moved to Sweden in 1946. Represented in public collections in Sweden.
