Expressive brushstrokes with a wonderful composition and pleasing color harmony in thick impasto oil colors of boats along a canal waterfront. This artist certainly knew how to paint and shows it by by his skillful use of color and the way he sweeps your eye around the painting. This painting is lovely! Represented in several public collections.
