Mid Century oil painting by listed artist Stig Kjellin from Sweden. Striking mid century painting titled "The City". I love the way the artist has broken down the painting into simple shapes and colors. Excellent use of design and color. My photography does not do this piece justice. Lovely in person.

Artist: Stig Kjellin (1914-1979) 

Kjellin trained at Tekniska Skolan in Stockholm 1934- 1936 and took self directed overseas trips to study art in Switzerland and Spain. Represented in public collections in Sweden.
