Original Vintage, Fine Art oil painting from Sweden signed C Berndtsson of a wintery beachside scene with fishermen huts and equipment lining the shore. Titled "Winter Day by the Sound"  Love the glowing red interior of the barrel which really helps emphasize the coolor tones. Thickly applied paint in beautiful tonal blues ranging from aqua to grey. Carl Berendtsson (1902-1983) studied at the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm and worked both in Europe and Scandinavia.  Oil on canvas. Signed lower right. Frame which shows wear. Lovely in person.
