Original Oil Painting Vintage Mid Century By B Hillgrund Sweden

Fabulous original vintage oil painting by popular and listed Swedish artist Bengt Hillgrund (1935-1981). Beautiful moody tonal color and great composition of a wintery landscape in fabulous thick impasto with expressive brushwork. The artist really knew how to mix color and the paint is applied in nice juicy brushstrokes. I think this painting has the "it" factor. Bengt Hillgrund (1935-1981) is represented in various museum collections in Sweden. Studied in Sweden and Copenhagen. Probably painted in the 1960's.
