Stunning vintage Mid Century figure painting in oil from Sweden by Carls Deesbo (1892-1990) Deelsbo studied art in Stockholm and Paris. He ran his own art and advertising school in Stockholm in the 1950's. Beautifully painted with superb use of cools and warms in the flesh tones. This is painted directly from the model. Artist is represented by the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Oil on canvas applied to board. Signed lower left. Frame shows wear. Lovely in person.
