Striking framed mid century oil painting by, listed artist, Helge Cardell (1902-1972) Sweden dated 1950 on the reverse.  Cardell studied at Skånska Målarskolan plus during trips to the Netherlands, England, Germany and France. Represented in several museum collections in Sweden.  Beautiful expressive brushwork with some areas of paint applied thickly and beautiful color harmony in this beautiful oil of a charming coastal scene.
