 Mid century vintage oil painting from Sweden by very popular listed artist Fabian Lundqvist of figures standing in front of village houses at dusk. This painting has a beautiful luminosity and excellent color harmony with confident paint handling. Superb control of values. The artist really shows off his understanding of line and composition in this fantastic piece. So striking in person.

Artist: Fabian Lundqvist (1913-1989)  Artist studied in Sweden at Skånska Painting Academy and was a student of Jean Fautrier and Andre Lahote in Paris. Represented in many public collections in Sweden.
