Stunning large vintage mid century  landscape oil painting by listed Danish artist, Kai Christensen, (b1918). Lovely impasto paint application and color usage depicting village houses hidden by snowdrifts in winter with the sea on the horizon in the background.  A very striking painting in a tonal color scale with small touches of warm colors that compliment the cooler tones.  Artist studied in Paris with Monsieur Garbid and in Sweden with Bertil Bernsten and Olle Vallengren.
