Vintage, mid century, oil painting by listed Swedish artist Lars Norrman (1915-1979) in original frame. Confidently painted oil with an excellent design in bold color that makes a very striking image. All of the shapes are simplified into blocks of color that vibrate against each other. Some areas of impasto. Stunning in person. Must see in person as my photography does not do this painting justice! 

Artist: Lars Norrman (1915-1979) Norrman studied at the atelier of Otto Sköld and in Paris under the highly esteemed artist Fernand Léger. Norrman is represented in several museum collections in Sweden and abroad including National Museum, Stockholm and The Swedish institute, Paris.
